Forrest R. Hansen is a shareholder at the law firm Kirton McConkie. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Political Science and French from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law, where he served on the senior editorial board of the American University Law Review. He is currently a professor of comparative constitutional law at Université Paris Cité (Faculty of Law, Sorbonne Alliance), where he teaches constitutional structure, fundamental rights, federalism, and comparative constitutional systems. He also advises foreign governments on constitutional drafting and reform and delivers constitutional training programs for the judiciary in a number of countries.
